Neptune stations Direct

Saturday, November 28.  Neptune stations direct at 18 .09 ° Pisces tonight.  Its effects are felt Thanksgiving through Monday although since it falls smack on the approach of a Gemini Lunar Eclipse on Monday it can be safe to bet that Neptune will be blowing out of proportion whatever challenges or events come to light during eclipse season.  When a planet stations in the sky for the few days until it makes it directional shift all the subjects falling under its domain are heightened in our awareness.  For those with planets or chart points between 16° to 20° of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius or Gemini the energy will be even more acute as delivered through the instrument of Neptune along with the aspected planet or chart point.

This energy is about escapism and heightened sensitivities and feelings.  If you’ve been in a spiral of depression then this energy can deepen the spiral yet, if you’ve been on a high of joy, happiness and optimism then the station will accentuate those feelings.  Neptune doesn’t necessarily care what the feeling is but she will want to expand and inflate the mood.  A simple example would be if you’re watching a movie you may be paying more attention to the art and set design, costumes, colors and the imagination that went into the making of the movies.  The entire atmosphere becomes enhanced. The acting feels more soulful, the camera moves enter our awareness as more of an eye into the soul of the movie makers or more spiritually, the soul of humanity.  Movies are after all an illusion.  The best allow us to see art, truth and humanity through the illusion and poetry.  The worst numb us into a stupor similar to drugs and alcohol.  Neptune will help you to make a choice in whether or not you want to experience the agony or the ecstasy.  Those with addictions need to monitor the temptation of wanting to over indulge.  It’s a great weekend to escape into a fantasy world and there’s nothing wrong with a controlled substance in moderation to lead you to that place, it’s all a matter of awareness and Neptune can cloud good judgment.  If you can open your mind to a higher creative energy through yoga, meditation, music or any creative muse that stirs your soul then you should find some great rewards.  Whatever inspiration comes your way write it down and make it tangible so that at a later day you can work and perfect the kernel of inspiration that come down the pike on this weekend. 

I always think of a planet being retrograde as getting more in touch with Yin energy while when it turns direct there’s more of a Yang influence.  Because Neptune rules people who work in the arts have had to spiral inwards the past 6 months to reimagine how they go about expressing their creativity.  Covid has made that an even harsher reality.  Spiraling inward to search out the muse of creativity and see how to redirect her would have been very important.  Now on the direct station and for the next 6 months it’s time to set into action those nurturing ideas that have been percolating. 

On a practical level you may be feeling more tired, lazy and want to sleep more.  Let your body rest if that’s what it’s saying to you.  Listen to and trust your intuition.  Write down your dreams.  You may be called upon to help those that are physically hindered and can’t take care of daily functions.  Help them out.  Be aware of the media, information and news you’re listening to.  I know there’s talk about a vaccine and that’s great and I’m sure it’s definitely in the works but don’t get overly excited into believing it to coming as quickly as what’s being touted or that it will be a panacea.  The Neptune station along with a lunar eclipse in Gemini can be very deceptive and it will be easy to believe lies, fake news and have the wool pulled over your eyes.  Don’t make important snap judgment decisions on this energy.  It’s not a smart thing to do.  If something sounds too good to be true it most definitely is.  Neptune rules the pharmaceutical industry and a Gemini Lunar Eclipse is about important information coming to light so it makes sense that this announcement comes out now.  The reality of when it’s delivered may be what the problem might be. 

We’re living in sad times and the best way to tap into Neptune’s powers is through opening a compassionate heart.  Don’t be a Pollyanna or blind optimist but instead treat every person and situation with an open and understanding heart
