The Case of George Floyd

Remember I said to pay attention whenever a planet crosses 0° of the fixed signs throughout 2021 because that degree is going to be very sensitive since the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn occurred at 0° 29’ of Aquarius on December 21, 2020.  The conjunction of Jupiter/Saturn occurs every 20 years and always is about resetting the economy.  It’s also about structuring (Saturn) the law (Jupiter).  In the sign of Aquarius it will test the limits of democracy and ask society to take a more progressive look into our future and the laws which shape it.  Aquarius rules the internet and social security.  How we connect with and treat others as equals is going to change in big ways over the next 20 years.

On January 6, 2021 as Mars entered 0° Taurus we had the insurrection on the Capitol take place.  This was an event that was a direct attack against Democracy and the structures of our country that have been in place for hundreds of years. 

The State of Minnesota vs. Derek Chauvin in the murder of George Floyd.  The defense began its case on April 13, 2021 and rested on April 15 after two days of testimony from seven witnesses.  All this happened just as Venus ingressed to 0° Taurus.  As the Sun and Mercury ingressed into 0° Taurus on April 19th-20th a guilty verdict was handed down in the trial of police office Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd.  His was convicted on all three counts.  This is considered to be a revelatory and life changing moment in our history as it’s very rare to convict a police officer of murder and even more rare to have an everyday black man vindicated.  This is a symbol of a tide changing against unfair and unequal justice against communities of color.  It’s a watershed moment as the Age of Aquarius continues to announce its effect on rebuilding our society and its infrastructure.
